A Customer Success Manager (CSM) is a proactive, strategic partner responsible for ensuring clients achieve their desired business outcomes using a company's products or services. Unlike reactive support roles, a CSM focuses on long-term relationship building, product adoption, and driving growth through renewals and upselling.
Job Summary
We are looking for a results-driven Customer Success Manager to manage a portfolio of key accounts. You will act as a trusted advisor, bridging the gap between sales and ongoing support to ensure maximum value delivery. Your primary mission is to reduce churn, foster customer loyalty, and identify expansion opportunities within our existing client base.
Core Responsibilities:
- Onboarding & Adoption: Lead the post-sale transition for new clients, guiding them through implementation and initial training to ensure a fast "time-to-value".
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain deep relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers to align our solution with their evolving business goals.
- Health Monitoring: Proactively monitor customer health metrics and usage data to identify at-risk accounts before issues arise.
- Strategic Reviews: Conduct regular Business Reviews (QBRs) to demonstrate ROI, share best practices, and discuss future roadmaps.
- Growth & Retention: Manage the entire renewal lifecycle and partner with sales to identify upselling or cross-selling opportunities.
- Customer Advocacy: Act as the "voice of the customer" internally, providing actionable feedback to product and engineering teams to influence feature development.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: Typically 3–5+ years in customer success, account management, or a similar client-facing role, preferably within the B2B SaaS industry.
- Technical Proficiency: Skilled in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and customer success platforms (e.g., Gainsight, Totango).
- Communication: Exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Analytical Ability: Strong data literacy to interpret customer usage trends and translate them into strategic recommendations.
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is standard.
